today me and hendrie went for our frequent suppers. while chatting, politics/economics came up. as well as how the world and how people are behaving now. and hendrie just said, 'this is how the world is. live with it.' upon hearing this i thought, how did we come to this state? then i remembered hearing the sentence 'live with it' and 'thats how things are' many times. what did i think after this? i thought of it as an excuse. yes. a bloody excuse. the way people behave and how the world is, is because we hide behind those lines and cant be bothered to do anything about it. at this point you might be thinking 'who the hell do you think you are?' well all i have to say is, imagine if you never existed, how different will the lives of the people around you be? you might not make a public difference like george bush but at least you make a social difference in your circle of aquaintances and friends. you can laugh at me for trying to make a difference, but at least i will try to make a difference within my circle rather than give up. who knows? maybe my friends might spread it and so on. i would die trying to make a difference than die thinking that we are finally leaving this shithole for heaven. because if everyone was bothered to think and reflect on what they have done rather than hide behind a line, there would not be a need for heaven for we would be already living in one. these things such as what we speak, what we do, how we behave all plays a part. often people classify being direct as being insensitive and shallow. but if you think again, if you put in words like fuck and asshole, are you sure you're really being direct, or are you just being implusive?
(P.S i think i might have gotten waay off-topic but what the heck :D)
